High school you sounds a lot like high school me.
There was no muss, no fuss. Wasn't excited about much, didn't expect much.
On the topic of typing, I started using computers at 7, but was a very slow typist till I started to program and write documentation around age 16. Now I believe I can reach about 40 wpm typing in the dark
