man bees are so cool. I been considering setting up a couple of hives in my yard but the Australian heat worries me. I heard from a co-worker who used to keep them that they have no problem staying warm as their hive is usually around 7-10 degrees cooler than whatever the outside temp is but when it gets hot they can struggle and i would hate to come home after a day of 40 degree weather and find them all dead :(
