What happens if one day you decide to fully open up and be HONEST with somebody in the way you haven't opened up even for yourself?
If you trust to show somebody the worst traits of your personality, which you normally hide from the public for the sake of their well being?
For most of the time you try hard to protect people from yourself. You slowly build a cave where no one can reach you and put on a mask of a happy and successful individual.
One day you decide to open up. You consciously choose TO TRUST the other:
You supply him/her with THE TOOLS to hurt you. Your lack of self confidence is a knife, childhood trauma is a pistol and lack of sense of humor is a poison. Suddenly you dear to hope to be loved and accepted despite your anger, narcissism and desperate need to always have everything under control.
Be sure to TRUST from the depths of your heart! Because the other is going to use these tools. Be open for being vulnerable and wounded. This will make you fearless, this will develop, change and make you grow. Even if one day the other won't be able anymore to accept you the way you are.
The other is also just a human being trying to protect him/herself.
The price of total trust and honesty is high. BUT IT IS WORTH EVERYTHING.

today i got inspired by this talk of Marina Abramović, which has a lot of similarity to a black and white video I've edited ("The form of Soul") for my artists friends "Motimaru Dance Company". Go to Simplicity ;)
