These are some of the meanings of attitude (as displayed in dictionary.com). Why am I talking about attitude?
I am talking about attitude because we need to carry it with us in every walk of life to attain certain respect and position in life.
We display a set attitude at our home, we change it when we are with our friends, we are at our tad bit best with it at our workplace, and we flaunt it at a social gathering or online networking. If we have so much of attitude, are we losing our own self or is so much attitude good? Neither we are losing our self nor is too much of attitude display a good thing. One simply cannot lose one's own self even when donning a wrong or incorrect attitude because too much of attitude display will at some time show in some way or the other. Then why do we even carry attitude? You would say that I don't show any attitude; I am always what I am, nothing more and nothing less. Well, this is an attitude in itself. Even a person who is outward down to earth, very caring, and always respects anybody carries that attitude though that is a good attitude.
What I want to say here is that attitude may not necessarily be only forged or fake, it can also be genuine and original. But whatever it is and whatever you carry, it shows. On the top of that, we Indians (not all of us) have a habit of making a picture of someone in mind just on seeing the person's attitude and then we go ahead to behave in a mutually responsive manner. Hence, if so much of the so called attitude plays importance in our lives and if there are classes and also Web sites saying that Attitude is everything, how do we deal with it?
Wherever you go, whatever you do, you should never forget your own 'self'. What you are is more important than what you show. What you do is more important than what you dont. Talking about everything does not necessarily mean you have knowledge, talking the right thing at the right place shows it. Attitude is like the signature of a person. It is upto the person to leave an impression or just be one of the scribbled lot.
To be confident is an attitude, to be over confident is also an attitude, it is up to you how you want to be.
Note: This is one of my old articles and the image is from google.
Nice. Though attitude changes by experience, maturity and wisdom. Every experience with a false attitude is a learning. Liked the way you concluded; "To be confident is an attitude, to be over confident is also an attitude, it is up to you how you want to be."
Keep up the good work. Cheers!!!
