If anyone reading this happens to have children or employees under them, I urge them to consider the power that their voice holds. Your voice becomes your child/employee's inner voice, and if you focus on their negative attributes, it'll be harder and harder for them to rise above it. You tell them they are terrible, and they will continue to be terrible, because you must be right. You tell them they're doing a great job, and a great job is the only job they'll want to do.
