You, sir, are one of the steemians I admire the most. You know it.
Now I admire you more.
I'm a car, travelling along, one of many. Without us, these roads are useless.
I think the platform is great. But I feel kinda "left alone" by the people that, I think, should take care of me on this.
Sometimes I feel not only the road is getting increasingly difficult. Sometimes I feel some people (People with power, whales) are intentionally making it difficult. For motives I do not fully understand. Reasons that have to do with numbers and charts and money...
But, I tell you, I am here to stay. I am an artist. I want to live by making art, the same way you do. And you are here, as a proof that it is actually possible to do it here.
I want to do it here, no matter how much I have to work for it.
Congratulations on your well-earned power. You deserve it. And much more.
I hope I will be around to congratulate you for every success you have.
Thank you very much. As artists, we're in direct competition but that does not mean I'd prefer to be on top while others stay behind. We're in this together. The other day I had to ask an artist who was spending over $1000 per post just to trend if he was trying to force the rest of us artists to do the same just to be able to compete. There's no way an artist who wants to start from scratch here can compete with that. Steroid Olympics. No thanks... and that's not good for business either. It's doing far more harm than good. Quite selfish as well.
Thanks again though! I hope to see you doing well soon enough.
Over $1,000 per post??
Is that even a... thing... that actually happens here??
Yup. Over $1000 US, per post, every post, just to trend. They don't even tell people how they got there. They mislead others into thinking their work is there because it is popular, when really, they bought the slot. Scroll down in my blog and read the Crack post for more information.
