To constantly grow we need new challenges My "growth goal" Nr 2 recap (morning routine)

“Not every ROAD we come across in our daily life is one we have to take. Sometimes just standing still and being, can BE the best move we ever make."
― Angie Karan"

In my previous 2 posts I actually planned to switch my growth goal every week but at the moment I still think the morning makes my day and a good one makes everything else much easier.

I was at this point many times in my life before. I am doing good, I have a lot of momentum carrying me and a lot of things going my way. So why not add x and y to my list and this and that I wanted to integrate into my life for a long time and after dinner, I will cure cancer while building my spaceship.

I guess you get what I mean. I added more and more tasks to my list. My routines grew fast and I throw everything overboard what I have learned about building them.

start small, end big

I wanted to make up the time I wasted before.

And one day everything came crumbling down on me. I stopped doing the things which made me feel this way and cut me some slack here and some slack there, till I was back at square one and did absolutely nothing.

And not for just a day or two, no no, I could do nothing for several months till I felt I have reached a new low and it is time to get my shit together.

I feel I am at this point again and I dont want to make the same mistake for the 105th time. You know the old saying

Fool me once shame on you
Fool me twice shame on me
Fool me 105 times I am not very smart

I want to maintain the habits I have built so far and improve them. Small but steady this time.

My morning routine is coming together but there are still some adjustments to make.

At the moment it looks like this

  • drinking a big glass of water
  • make my bed (I still forget about this from time to time)
  • jump in the pool
  • meditation
  • wim hof breathing (doesnt work so good)
  • showering
  • breakfast
  • check steemit
  • go training ( did not do this very regular this week)

Pokertheory and is totally missing so far and reading is not regular in the morning as I read more in the afternoon.

I still want to wake up a bit earlier.

I was thinking about adding jouraling to the list but I think I write enough of my thoughts here.

I should move back steemit after the training as sometimes it is hard to get off but I am so curious ( what were the others up to? Do I have new comments or votes? Questions which demands answers but can probably wait till noon if I can control myself.

Maybe I should keep my laptop closed till after training.

Nice article

Here is something I was told which changed my perspective. The way to find out if you are doing enough is if you are encountering new problems. That is pretty interesting to think about.
