The following article I wrote in 2013 for the blog: https://natureduca.com/blog/el-hombre-aprende-por-si-mismo, and I would like to share it with the Steemit community to know their opinions and contributions about it .
It is well known that the human being, by nature, is a perfectly created being; because it is capable of assimilating and mastering knowledge, behaviors and procedures, from the simplest to the most complex. Some theorists assure that the learning process of man begins from its gestation; if it is stimulated, it can develop its senses more efficiently, compared to what has not been encouraged by its parents during the fetal training process. However, the greatest learning is acquired by man through his interaction with the world around him (environment, family, society, school). In this sense, in the evolution of time, the lived experiences, will allow its full human development.
That is why the human has challenged the frontiers of daily learning, due to their desire to excel; situation that has placed him in the seat he now holds. This way of acting, shows that the human is not conformist, and therefore, has been dedicated to verify empirical knowledge in search of the "truth" of the things that surround it, using the scientific method, thus achieving, lasting in time, through the contribution of dogmas for posterity.
In this order of ideas, it can be inferred that man learns by himself. From prehistory, it learned, progressively to subsist over time, defending itself from other species and meet their needs. All this indicates that the human being is an innate researcher who uses observation from an early age, as well as reasoning to improve their quality of life and that of their peers.
From this perspective, education plays a preponderant role in the learning of the individual. However, the family represents the fundamental basis in the formation of man's values; contribution that will impact from your childhood to your old age. To this end, the human being, through contact with his peers, acquires a baggage of cultural knowledge that identifies him with his roots, and these must be valued in time, because they are transmitted from one generation to another.
In conclusion, it can be affirmed that man, depending on the knowledge acquired during his human development, is self-sufficient to develop in his context.
