RE: Understanding your calling... Steven's Steemit community inquiry

IMHO, we are born pure of heart, tainted, and then spend the rest of our lives, either trying to discover what we should be, or reinforcing what we have become.
Yes, there are more good people than bad, but there are more blades of grass than there are trees.
We have been educated to give more importance to some things/people, and less to others.
With all due respect to Civil Right Activists, it's groups of REFEREES, who would be unnecessary if the roots of division were tackled.
Obtainable? YES, but a hell of a lot of re-educating is required, not only for those who understand the problems at hand, but for those who don't see anything wrong.
We have trusted our educators, and the ones before them. Whether they be teachers, parents, history books...
I'm not saying I have a solution, but a start would be STOP TEACHING HISTORY, FULL STOP. It will always be something to fight over. It is decisive and has a purpose, and has done pretty well for itself, but has done nothing but harm.
Yesterday is gone. It is quite pointless bringing it up time and time again and forcing that upon our children.
So, you see what I mean by a hell of a lot of re-educating?
Parents would need to drop most of their stories, books would need to have chapters torn out, TV/Radio stations would have to reprogramme everything....
The CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS with a UNIFIED CODE would instead, police the media and all publications before release...
How does that not start sounding WRONG?
How does that not start sounding EXTREME?

Children, Tabula Rasa, teach them what is right, and what is necessary, without teaching negativity....

Obtainable? YES. But this sounds like the thought police, this why views on SJW's swing very quickly from far left, to far right, when in actual fact, they aren't just two ends of a spectrum, but the beginning and end of a CIRCLE...

In this information day and age, you could almost stop teaching history....and MAYBE WE SHOULD...... If people want to know about something they can look it up(but little guarantee that the 'facts' they find will be truth or propaganda either).

How does that then fit with "those who forget history are doomed to repeat it"?

The plan would not just be to rewrite history, but to teach new values. It has been touched upon in movies and so on. Todays history would need to be "forgotten"....
The saying is that "those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat it." Pointing to the fact that nothing was changed when mistakes did happen.
We are (would be) in a position to change that, knowing what we know now. Knowing what we know not to be true etc.
Again, like in the movies, the power would be in the hands of those who know the truth etc...
Not impossible, but damn near so.....
A whole generation would need "stop talking" for this to work....
Enter the oxymoron, we would, yet again have to "fight for peace..." go figure....
