RE: Fiestaware - My Favorite Dishes

in #life7 years ago

I like the way Fiestaware looks, but it is a little too thick for my taste. Very nice photos, though! One nice thing about Fiestaware—all those vibrant warm color tones!

My mother collects red Hall china, which is similar, but older. The Aladdin Teapot is my favorite piece :-)

I'm using some really pretty Denby earthenware. Expensive? At one point, maybe! I have about a set and a half that my mother found at a second-hand store for $10. It's in immaculate shape!

Wow, good find from your mom! Looks like some nice dishes! :) I had to look up both sets of dishes and I like both of them! It is fun to collect something like this I think. I have found some thrift-like stores in a town near me. I check every once in awhile in their dish area. :) Never know what might make its way to Panama. Found my mom a few plates handpainted in Finland (they have visited there and have friends there, so a cool memento for them). :)

Wow, the hand-painted finish stuff sounds ice, too! My Denby is an older pattern with an interesting pattern. I'll have to take a photo of it, sometime, when I can find some gloopy dessert for it. Everything looks better with dessert.
