Friends. I think that what some of the learned men and women are telling us now. It just makes good sense to take the time to listen and read. To see if we agree with them about what our immediate and medium term future may hold for us.
That is why (Part 2) here. I wasn't satisfied with just the first post. It could be too important to miss.
And I want to begin with one of my favorite "cycles analyst." Charles Nenner. He is a learned man.
Here is a very brief look at some of his credentials.
(Mr. Nenner graduated from Maimonides College Amsterdam in 1972, and from the University of Amsterdam Medical College, where he earned his medical degree in 1984.)
He has developed a proprietary method of looking at and forecasting economic events into the future.
His latest Greg Hunter interview can be found here.
Follow along with what he has to say and make your own decision about his likely success of being right in what he is saying.
Next is the Weiss Research Group that I had written about in my previous post.
Here is some of their promotion material to get your money. If you have some money. I would be very careful about giving it to anyone.
You might need it later.
Buying and selling with what someone tells you directly can be misleading. I know from experience.
But, it doesn't take away from the overall direction in the economics that they are predicting.
Such as this: The great convergence of major economic cycles AND the war cycle, coming in October, 2017: Why everything in your life is about to change …
You can read all that they are warning about here:

And remember that Clif High has also predicted from his "Alta Reports" tough times are to be expected.

From the three that I have mentioned. I trust Charles Nenner's forecast and outlook the most. He has a good record.
He will give you a two months free trial if you would want to check out his work.

Oh, I have no affiliation whatsoever with him or his company. He doesn't even know who I am or that I am alive. Just saying.
Remember though. Everything we do can be changed over time. What we know today could be very different from what we will see tomorrow.
So, read and listen. But, I wouldn't put too much trust and faith in what others tell us. Just keep in mind what it being said and then do what pleases you.
Thank you for your time. I hope you have enjoyed reading my post and possibly learned something as well.
Francis
My 2-cents:
My Great Grand-parents raised their families in the depression. I was fortunate enough to know each set on both sides. All 4 of them came through tough times in the Great Depression.
As a young girl, I remember them teaching me farming/ homesteading skills. They taught me how to survive without modern convienences...how to grow food, how to prepare it, how to make some medicines, never to waste anything, to carry the least amount of debt that you can (but preferably none at all), to do things right the first time and to help others.
They always told me that the "Depression happened once and it can happen again".
The last time we went into a Depression the recovery was 10 years...I have repeatedly heard 5 years on this one and I think that's too optimistic.
At the end of the day is it going to hurt anyone to have some seeds, clean water, food, basic tools, extra fuel, junk silver and some medicine stored up?
It will at least buy some time if there is a world-wide financial melt-down or some other catastrophic event. Time for plan b, c, d and e to be implemented. :)
@rebeccaryan
I knew you were a wise woman. And have learned a lot about what we all need to know.
But, I didn't know you were that wise and and ready for whatever may come next.
I can clearly see now that you will have much to offer to us on Steemit should the economic problems
that is being warned of actually becomes a reality for us.
As I have written in my post. I believe that economic cycles are as likely as any other cycles of life.
We all hope for the best.
Cycles may be able to tell us what we need to prepare for after a long protracted period of excess.
Such as what we have in place now.
I am very glad to have found and know you on Steemit. You have been an inspiration to many of us.
And I for one want you to know that.
Since you have shown to us even more of your knowledge and abilities in your reply.
I for one, will be glued to your blog as the days and months roll by. Who knows what problems we could face in our future.
With your showing and teaching us of what we need to know.
I can rest a little easier.
Thank you so much for being a friend. I greatly appreciate it.
Francis
I think this is why we have all showed up on Steemit about the same time. You can see teams and micro-communites building as a result. Each one of us is carrying a valuable piece of the puzzle in terms of information we know and can put to practical use. This is being shared. There is strength in numbers.
@rebeccaryan
What friend would I be if I didn't share good news. It happened.
Check me out when you have time if you want too.
Francis
Nearly everything you do is of no importance, but it is important that you do it.

Great quote
@wise-old-man
Seems contradictory to the normal mind. But, I guess it makes sense to some. Gets us to thinking anyway.

I probably don't prepare enough in the financial side. I lean toward the self sufficiency side of things.
yes you are right. obviously these men have put a lot of thot and effort into this subject. which gives them a little more incite to it than we have. definitely worth a listen.
