Question: Is there a cabal of sociopaths running the world from behind the scenes?
()
I once thought this type of conspiracy utterly ridiculous. “How on earth could such a group remain so hidden…so completely invisible…and yet control so much? How could they keep their secret for so long? The notion is preposterous!”
Today, however, I’m not so sure.
And so I began paying a little more attention not only to the world that surrounds us but also at the history that defines us. Perhaps there is a picture to see…or at least an argument to be made that isn’t quite as preposterous as WE ARE LED to believe.
I will start from the premise that there are in fact two distinct groups in the world today: one that attempts to secretly enslave the other, and one that simply sees its manacles as mere decorative ornaments that nature intended mankind to comfortably wear. The former is a small, elite group of high octane scam-artists, charlatans, and liars while the latter is a myriad of basically honest and hardworking people whose members are slowly becoming more lethargic and less apt (and perhaps incapable) of using logic to expose the fraud in life that leads to the death of a free society and mankind itself.
Let’s begin this journey with Plato. To be sure, I could use the book of Genesis (which I will use in a later article), but for me, Plato lays the groundwork for truth. This is not to say he “discovered” or “invented” truth; he simply wrote about it very eloquently and even more convincingly.
Many of us already know (or should know) about Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. While I do not have statistics to support my claim, I can only assume a vast majority of the Western World is familiar with this gem. In it, Plato explains (through Socrates) an unusual situation that is often interpreted as the representation of mankind’s understanding of reality…or lack thereof. And while I do not disagree with this interpretation, I can only wonder if there is more to this story than WE ARE ALLOWED to think.
Note: Much of what I am attempting to prove will come at face value. Too often, we are presented with literature and then TOLD how to interpret it. This occurs with the Greeks, the Bible, and virtually all of the Great Books of Western Civilization, not to mention religion and politics. ALAS! Why can't we read for ourselves and come to our own conclusions? but I digress...
Back to Plato:
Let’s look at the obvious points in Plato’s allegory. For starters, we have a group of prisoners whose chains prevent them from moving. Furthermore, we have another group of people behind our prisoners casting shadows on the wall. My first few questions are obvious, yet never considered: Why are the prisoners chained? Who chained them? Why don’t the shadow-casters break those chains or at least end the charade? It's as if these questions are NOT ALLOWED and society has been programmed not to ask them. But again, they're so obvious.
I’m wondering: Can it be interpreted that this group of shadow-casters is in fact the puppet master? Clearly, its members must realize there is an enslaved group of prisoners shackled in their midst, yet they do nothing to help them. In fact, it seems obvious these puppet masters go out of their way to perpetuate the false reality that the prisoners consider truth.
And so I can’t help but wonder if Plato wasn’t attempting to expose the elite cabal of deception artists without revealing his knowledge of their existence. After all, when we consider what the “elites” did to his mentor by means of a hemlock martini, perhaps it was in Plato’s best interest to be a little careful.
It could be argued that I’m reading too much into the story, but is it possible to read too much into Plato? If you asked me, he created the perfect story that reveals the spiritual truth in life as well as the Great Deception that was (and still is) taking place.
The bottom line is that the puppet masters in Plato’s allegory were trying to prevent the prisoners from learning two things:
- That there is a spiritual reality, and
- That the fake reality they, themselves, created is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth for those who remain comfortable wearing manacles as jewelry.
Next stop: Genesis 3 and how mankind’s fall is no fall at all…but that’s not what YOU’RE SUPPOSED to believe.
Very interesting and insightful
Excellent response. You are as wise as you are brilliant.
All the world is a stage, and we are just the actors, being controlled by the "puppet masters" of the world. Great insight, freedomwriter.
