Living a life of regrets, choosing to get back
People make decisions which they will later on regret, realizing what they've done is wrong.
Such regrets start from small wrongdoings until a nightmare results, which becomes a memory that you no longer want to remember.
Why? This is because of the temptation that lingers in your soul, from the days of your youth until you reach a point of maturity in which you are well aware of what is wrong and what is right.
Man's free will
Yes, God has given us free will, but this does not mean that we're free to do whatever we want, even if it means destroying our life. Instead, we must be concerned about the decisions we make each day of our lives. Others abuse this privilege, believing that their youth is an excuse for wrongful doings and that repentance is always at hand.
Many people are blinded by money, fame, and power, becoming self-seeking individuals who only care for their own glory. They indulge themselves in different vices like drugs, alcohol-drinking, crimes, and many more. This destroys not only their physical bodies but their spirits totally destroyed because of being hardheaded, choosing not to obey God's laws.
The main reason for this is not knowing the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. Others claim that they know God and believe in him without actually knowing the true God in the bible. This is proven by their own works, denying God himself.
The old path God has set for us to walk on: It is never too late to get back
Hearing the truth is the turning point for someone to get back to the old path which God has set for us to walk on. People who belong to God turn to Him for salvation. Others who choose to continue living their own lives, refusing to heed God's call use their free will to follow their own ways.
For those who choose to repent after realizing how regretful they are with the lives they lived, it is never too late to get back on the old path. God is always waiting for us to realize our mistakes and let him mend our wounds and change our hearts for the better.
