India has topped the list of most dangerous country in the world for women according to a survey by the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
This report is a major setback for India, because in seven years ago, India was placed at the seventh position in this report. According to the 2011 survey, Afghanistan, Congo, Pakistan, India and Somalia were considered to be the most dangerous countries for women. But this year, in the case of rising crimes against women, India has overtaken other countries. The issue of protection of women in the country arises day after day, but on the ground the women are in the highest danger in India itself.
