Hi my dear Friends... Here I am with the pics of a small gift, me and my husband received from our son @firepower, from one of his trips to Malaysia.
Yes, this is just a small painting done by a street artist using pastel colors. Our son brought it when he went to SteemFest 2, via Malaysia! He gave the order to the artist while he stayed there for few days, before going to the steemfest-2, and collected it on his way back home...!!
Actually for both of us, since we being the artists, we can paint in a much better way. And for my husband, as he works as full time portrait artist, making a portrait on canvas is just a few hours' job!! And his work is much better and smoother than this....
But what made us proud, happy and much sentimental is the fact that- Our son has bought this and has brought it for us, taking so much trouble from a far away place, with great care!!
Though he had brought it about 4 months ago, we had kept it rolled in our cupboard. Few days back my husband went for a frame and now we got it fixed. Finally on my 59th birthday, I got it as a gift !!! :) :) :)...
In this painting we both are looking bit more aged than what we actually are!! Or.... are we growing younger day by day, because of being active on Steemit??? You have to answer this! 😜
And most importantly I have to mention here that I want to thank each one of you who wished me on my birthday, even through my son's blogs...

Thiugh you may disagree , the street artist has portrayed your picture brilliantly. And what makes it special is getting this as a gift from your own son. I have never gifted anything to my parents. This act of your son sets a good example! I should try.
