Yesterday I was completely wiped out.
Now, my brain is always in go mode, like I might have a bit of a problem resting at all because I just feel like I need to go, go, go all the time. However, yesterday I knew I needed to rest, so I limited my in action status to a normal amount of chores and such, before spending the afternoon napping in the hammock and retired to bed early.
That said, upon retiring, my almost slumbering form was assaulted be a sound that was equal parts crashing UTV on the side of a North Idaho highway and the dulcet tones of a lifetime of cigarette smoking harridan singing a painful karaoke version of My Heart Will Go On.
Bobo! I called to my Sasquatch-sized son, What in the heck is that?"
My baby gorilla strolled into my room, his arrival heralded by the mumbling monotonous tones of XXXTentacion. The combination of the cacophony occurring in my yard combined with the auto-tuned droning of a man spouting off about whips and garden tools threatened to crash my hard drive.
"It's just Isa and E. They are roping." he said with all the enthusiasm a put upon little brother can muster.
"Roping what? A coyote stuck in a trash compactor?" I screeched as the wrenching symphony reached its apex.
"You'll see in the morning," my boy replied with a smirk as he trod over to give me a goodnight hug.
Now, I was too wiped out to even muster enough curiosity to go look at the spectacle taking place in my yard. I mean, since no one was screaming in agony, I figured all was well enough, and promptly passed out for 10 hours.
This is what sight lit into my ocular region when I stepped outside this morning to do chores:
Children....
Anyway, I have to admit I am proud of their ingenuity. Both Isa and E are budding amateur rodeo contestants, so I applaud them for their practice dummy building gumption. I'm also slightly sad I didn't see Steer Cart roping action last night, but I have a feeling there will be a repeat performance before long.
The flower are very beautiful ☺
Thank you:)
