2017- My BEST YEAR YET.
I came up to write this blog because I felt to mark every moment cherished, struggles, difficulties and a little drama what had transpired last year. If you are fascinated to know more about how my 23rd year has defined me, please do keep on reading. 🙂
There are a lot of things I wanted to recollect on what had transpired last year. Maybe, it is the fact that I am not getting any younger anymore and made me realize that moments are very consequential to look back but the lessons are even greater and this help me grow as an individual. I considered every moment an opportunity to learn on my mistakes.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
This is my life verse. I commit unto Him that His will be done. So thankful and blessed that my 2017 is a prosperous one. Many of my hearts desire but Gods plan was prevail.
So let’s get started,
January
I commenced the year with our Cousins Annual Get Together. We hosted a simple party with paBingo, parlor games with some special prizes funded by our sponsors. Conspicuously we wear our printed shirts from our Sagada Adventure. This is how we value family, despite of diligent life of adolescent we are able to unite as one to have at least annually conduct a family reunion.
February
Getting back to authenticity, my work is relocated in Laguna, big difference than the conventional working routines at the Bonifacio Global City but less traffic and pollution. Living in a rural area for me is still better than in the city.
This is additionally my birth month. I went home to my province for a day just to celebrate my day of inception with family.
We just had our dinner together and goes back to Laguna with my cousin Leian together with our boyfriends to explore and endeavor the magical experience in Enchanted Kingdom. Glad they exerted efforts just to be with me on my birthday.
March
My boyfriend and I traveled to Nueva Ecija to meet his nephew for the first time from Hawaii and to visit the whole clan on their Vacation in the Philippines.
We do have a lot of Pasalubong. We spent 3 days only because I need to report on work, take note I am still working full time, not so conspicuous because I do file vacation leave monthly because I do deserve to take a rest. Haha
April
Went home to Ilocos Norte again because its Holy Week. I spent my vacation with my family, we went swimming in La Virgen Milagrosa in Badoc, Ilocos Norte. These moments are my treasure, no money or things in this world can equate the value of family bonding. My younger brother and my cousin had their school vacation for the month of May. They requested to come with me in Laguna, so I went back to my workplace with them and adopted them for a month.
I feed them, washed their clothes, and in my day off, we go out and tour them in Laguna. One reason why I do not optate to espouse yet, and the rest is you know it already. Haha
May
Still struggling with my ampon’s because they are too noisy chastizing them everyday because of the aso’t pusa moments but they are my ecstasy when I got home from work, they are my stress reliever.
We also drove down to Manila for a swimming before they go back to our province. It is their first time also to ride on MRT with siksikan moments.
This month, also I received an electronic mail from UAE which offers me to work abroad.
June
It is my 6th year working at my company. 6 years learning about new strategies on dealing dental techniques. Confusing month on which to choose. To prehend the opportunity working outside my country or perpetually leading my department. To close the door and open an incipient one, to take another chapter of my life story. I was on my point of I exert myself strenuously to be promoted in this company yet going abroad designates more preponderant pay.
Toughest month of the year!
July
Decision making, with my parents consult I resigned from my work and going to pursue my journey abroad. I am blissful I can go to other country but not that happy because working with my co-technicians in cadcam never fails to have a dull moment though sometimes struggling on how to deal with doctors/dentist special instructions. Glad we our able to have department lunch out before my last day in service.
A fortnight after I resigned, went home to relish the remaining days in the Philippines, to have more bonding with my family.Not satisfied with my decisions and I am in shock where did the time go. I will leave my family for a year, nonetheless I am so thankful and blessed because the company sponsored all expenses going there.
August
Precisely first of August, 12am Dubai time I landed. I do not know what will be my journey here but I believe this is His plan for me. To be more vigorous, braver and to live independently. My first week was the saddest days of my life. Homesickness kills me, crying without anyone to tell how you feel. This month also I took my licensure exam for dental technicians and medical exam for my residency and working visa stamping in my passport. Jumpacked stress and anxious about the things around me! I am glad I overcome those tribulations, going six months now in UAE.
September
I dreamed Dubai to be my travel destination but not my working station. I thought I will not love staying here because in my first month was a struggle. Culture shock, arabic foods, and barok english I felt like I do not belong. Hence, it is not just a picture, or a post of my friend on Facebook or watched in youtube but it was real, and I started traveling to beautiful places in UAE. I do have bucket-list, Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach, Dubai Mall and of course Al Majaz Park in Sharjah. I included in my list also Dubai Miracle Garden, Global Village, Dessert Safari, Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. I will go there soon before my contract ends.
October
Last quarter of the year, I can verbalize UAE is my second home though I genuinely miss porkchop, ilocos longganisa, isaw, fishball, empanada and a lot more. If I list down below everything, this post will not come to an end.
Surprisingly, this month they released my emirates ID and the result of my exam. Lucky enough I passed. I do not know what I did in my past to deserve all the blessings given me. Plus a bonus sign up in STEEMIT! Just wow! 🙂
November
This month is an incipient journey, I commenced blogging! Even do not know how blogging works but I started doing it. It helps me relieve from my homesickness and solitude. I also took a break on giving school allowances to my sister because this month-she graduated. I am definely blessed!
December
Last month of the year working, first Christmas without my family and first ever Christmas, vacation working. Working abroad is a big sacrifice! If you ask me which is better? Working abroad or in the Philippines. I’d rather optate my own country, there is no place like home but I do not regret though going here. I am blessed with good companions and kind boss plus a bonus tribulation cash out in this platform!
2017 went by so expeditious! All good things collaborate for proficient at the right time.
I am so thankful to our God Almighty for giving me strength and protection, wisdom and knowledge, guidance and never ending provision. He is the best author and director of this awe-inspiring story! All Glory Belongs to Him! And claiming that 2018 will be the best time of my life. ❤️

YES hopefully 2018 is mine and of course for you also.
I also wanted to work in other country to experience different environment but thinking back that i will be leaving my family drags me to stay here in the Philippines.
Be strong always in the Lord. He never fails us. GOD BLESS :)
He truly never fail to show His love for us, buhay abroad is not easy sis, its a big sacrifice. You can’t even celebrate with your loved ones during special occassions but all sacrifices will soon paid off I know. Godbless if have that hint of desire to go abroad ask God for it. His plan is far greater than ours. 🙂
