I took it that way. You aren't the chastising sort of doctor, so I always enjoy talking with you :)

The statement "I took it that way" also leaves an open end. Ahh, trying to decode intonation attached to text - this is kind of fun.

The best way to sew up that open end is to close your eyes and imagine. What you imagine is yours, or as Ira Gershwin wrote, "Oh no, they can't take that way from me."

I'm very glad to hear that. I'm not sure why it should matter, but I am really very glad to hear that about you.

You and I are happy writers I think. So it makes sense our imaginations are happy :)

I don't think my imagination is happy or unhappy. It seems to emote whatever the story calls for. The only time it went nuts was while I was writing my novel ESTELLE. It's a good story, but not at all what I started out to write.
