Taken on a recent and rare trip to the park.
Tuesday Orange.
Less than 2 years ago I could blitz these monkey bars and smash out a set of chin ups.
I also ran a marathon in this park one morning in 2016. Not an event, just 84 laps of the 500m track, just to see if I could...
Everyone can BTW. Run a marathon I mean. If you can put one foot in front of the other, and don't have a time restriction. It's not hard. It's no different to getting through any tough day.
You just have to break it down into manageable pieces that your brain can manage.
I recommend the same approach for any overwhelming task.
Perhaps it is 3 kms to your local shops?
If you really had to, could you walk there and back 7 times?
Sure you could... If you had to...
Congratulations. You can do it.
You just have to want / need to keep going more than you want to stop. It has a physical requirement but is pretty much dependant on your mental approach.
Marathons are overrated BTW.
Running really far while people cheer... Too easy.
Anyone who gets up every day, day after day in spite of their demons, looks those demons in the eye, says, bring it on, with a manufactured smile, and puts on a brave face to deal with the day (broken down in order to accomplish the basic things), no accolades or cheers...
You are the real champions!

Sure you could... If you had to and you are the winner
Nice motivation with your photograph
Wonderful shot. Are those leaves on the ground? I though it was sand at first. I zoomed in and def not sand or stone. Leaves and some petals perhaps?
The first one is bark / wood chip, the second is rubber matting.
All playground equipment with a fall height 600mm or more in Australia have to have
an impact reduction surface these days. ( The things I learn these days thanks to steemit!)
Some research I came across suggested that this has not reduced the incidence of fractures at all, but I do wonder if the play equipment has become less fun. Taking out every risk of a fall has made some equipment pretty boring looking.
Perhaps I'm showing my age, but the seesaws don't even go up and down anymore, they just kind of wobble.
Or as the Brady bunch taught me when Cindy and Bobby went for a record, I think most north Americans call them teeter-totter. I remember my siblings and I found the term highly amusing for some reason.
Hi M, thats a cool orange pic :]. Yes when i use to weightlift it was amazing that when i had major feats like pyramid lifting upwards of 500 reps, just the way i counted changed the difficulty. If i counted in just 10s it was much easier than to just straight count lol.
I always counted in 10s at the gym, then 5s when it got harder.
Lol, yup funny how that works :)
Wow really so beautiful Photographery.
Nice shot
