OH wow! Seeing your little guy in that first picture brought back memories of when our little lady ran out the doggie door to meet "daddy" coming home from work. She was so excited (and only a puppy so had no fear of cars... yet) and was hit. She had surgery on her leg and has a bad time of getting around most days... BUT she is alive and for that I am forever grateful

Yes we were/are lucky. I don't know where I would be without her. She is my shadow all day long
