With the development of civilization (culture), the original nature was disturbed. Human expansion, the search for new sources of raw materials, areas for expansion led to the degradation of large areas of the Earth. An extreme negative example may be the socialist idea of making a man a nature conqueror, expressed in the thesis that the existence of the Aral Sea called the Sea, the fourth once-largest lake in the world is a "mistake of nature" and the current needs of Soviet society are the most important, resulting in an attempt to change Kara-kum desert into arable fields - against the fears of ecologists and, consequently, almost total disappearance of the lake and an ecological disaster unprecedented in the history of mankind. On the opposite pole one could place the sentence of Frank Lloyd Wright, an American architect, one of the most famous in the twentieth century: the building can not stand "on" the hill or "on" anything else - it has to stand "together" with the hill, in symbiosis with it, the house and hill must coexist, belong to each other. Thus, in his opinion, the products of human culture are to harmoniously blend with the surrounding landscape, without harming the environment, but enriching it. This principle was known to the ancient, and buildings erected by them, for example the Greek Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion or the buildings of the Acropolis of Athens are like a part of the limestone rock on which they were erected and form an integral part of the landscape.
This is s world wide problem! Deforestation and destroying natural habitat for animals!!
Nice photos showing the contrast between the city and mountain views. Humans have to learn to respect nature and reduce the greed to more materialism!
Very tough for the future generations to survive!
I pray for healing of the earth, water and all living creatures and plants!
So do I. Thank you man

Words of wisdom and beautiful photos. I live just a short drive from Taliesin and appreciate Mr. Wright ever time I drive past. Too bad the rest of the world didn't pay heed to his vision.
I agree with you @melinda010100 the world would be more beautiful :)
