Never Underestimate Happiness

in #life8 years ago (edited)

Good morning all friendly steemers! Every once in a while it's good to stop and think what are the things that make you happy, and be thankful about the things you have. Always chasing something more and worrying about the things you don't have and what I need more will be an endless road.

After I moved to live here in Vietnam I realized that how much material stuff I had before which I didn't need. It's really liberating to understand how little you actually need to be happy in your everyday life.

Things which make me happy on daily basis are family, friends, health, weather (sunny is always nice) and some simple pleasures like a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Enjoy the little things, stay positive and keep on steeming, what a great community we have here!

Every sunrise is a new beginning. Go out, feel that warm ray of light on your face and smile.

So true @hanzkiboy. I lost everything a few years ago and whilst in the short term it was devastating, I quite like the liberating feeling of knowing that all I own can be packed into a couple of boxes and ready to move, whenever I want to. The only reason I stay in Saigon is because I want to be here. Gert friends and good times keep me keeping on. up-voted and re-steemed.

Exactly! Its important to enjoy the little things in life. Thanks for the resteem! Have a great day @inseasia.

Same to you @hanzkiboy.

Sometimes you don't know what you have until it's not there anymore... Happiness is the most valuable thing man can "own"

Totally agree @pele23! Thanks for the nice feedback, followed.

Beautiful words @hanzkiboy. I will upvote and resteem this one. Today was a good day for me to read this for sure. Words of wisdom right here. Once I moved abroad I condensed everything down to one bag. Its been about 7 years and I can still fit all my belongings into 1 bag. Its very liberating and a lifestyle that brings me much happiness. Thanks for this wonderfully positive post. This is the kind of content I want to see more of on here. Good on you. Cheers!

Thanks for the great comment @jakehorn87! Its an awesome time to be alive and live here in South-East Asia.
