Hello little brother,
With age I have learned to unlearn the impossible. Become the water within a half full glass not a half empty one.
Dreams or Visions are important to have, without them we do not grow.
See the finish line/ envision what you want and it will become.
Dreams morph and become bigger then when we were young with each failure and success.
Your process is unique to all your past life experiences(karma), the path is sometime easy to see and hard to see as time seems to stand still.
What I am trying to say; Your path has so many side roads, certain side paths to help you see the final destination; Your purpose. It is not changing your dream/vision but waiting for your dream to bloom; to become the butterfly
Pain is temporary where vision/dreams are forever!
