I bet you run into a lot of other "digital nomads" on your travels too. In my experience they tend to frequent similar places because of cost effectiveness and level of adventure.
How did you manage to keep your workforce flexible running the social media business? You had managers that would only work when you needed them but also always be available in case you did?
Well they were contracting for me. So every time I'd find a new customer, I'd make an introduction and they'd start communicating directly while I'd manage the whole thing remotely. Obviously the catch was that it would have been easy for them to cheat me and start working with those clients directly, but there are things you can do to prevent that, like providing additional value to the customers, having a close connection to them, etc.
