RE: Is It Evil To Join The Military?

in #life8 years ago

"It is self evident. Just look. If wars did not happen some nation would simply die. If USA did not go to war in the Middle East they would have run out of fossil fuels to run the nation. Thus war = progress in a selfish world."

Nations do not exist, and they have never existed. The concept of a nation is imaginary.
We do not need fossil fuels. If we had decided to be smarter, instead of more violent, we could have funded more advanced means of producing energy.

We have nuclear, solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, and many sources of energy. All we need is heat. We need to make steam, and the steam will spin a turbine, producing electricity.

There is no need for fossil fuels. War does not produce innovation anymore than funding intelligent people with good ideas does. Remember the space race?

Imagine if we had "science races" between nations every single decade, all going towards new projects. But we don't. We have wars instead. We have bullshit elections and corrupt politicians leading us.

We don't need war, and we never did. It is objectively obvious that working together is more advantageous than it is to make enemies out of people and kill them.

All stories are imaginary. All information is imaginary, pure fantasy. I read the first line, then I stopped reading, as you started denying the story of what is. The story is that there are wars. These wars are for resources. I can believe the story or not. I really don't care. I don't get lost in my mind. My life is perfect and I never see violence. So whatever the story, either way its all perfect for me :)
