Seeing the crowd's reactions it reminds me of Primerica or Amway style conferences where people mindset are probably like that of inside a sect. I only went in one of each of these, but I'll always remember the girl in the nice couple who recruited me who barfed her lunch out of stress and probably out of unconcious (unavowed) discomfort at the ambiance of collective hypnosis in the theater.
