Blackthorn spread in Europe, Asia, Caucasus, northwestern Africa, and most recently moved to northern America.
The flowers, fruit, and leaves of blackthorn affect in different ways. Because of that the flower usually contains flavones and flavone glycosides. Fruits and leaves show different effects due to the presence of high-density tannins. For example, when the flowers are laxative, the fruit leaves are constrictive.
To remove the digestive problems that are experienced after meals you need just eat 4-5 blackthorns after the meal. The antioxidants contained reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke by removing free radicals that accumulate in the veins and cause blockage. The blackthorn can induce the fat burning metabolism and decrease the fat percentage.
