Sometimes when we click pictures and we look at them after some time, that is when we realise the real value of those shots. I have a habit of clicking stills where ever I go and yesterday I was just refreshing my memories when these two shots caught my attention. Not because they were perfect but because they carried centuries along with them. Just take a look at these two pictures and travel centuries with them.

This place is situated in the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place. Not many are aware of this and often miss out while travelling to India. According to Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Agrasen Ki Baoli measures 58.52 metres x 13.71 meters at ground level. It was built by Maharaja Agrasen in the 14th century. It has been constructed by putting together uneven stone units, usually called ‘rubble masonry.’ The monument is divided into four levels with a flight of 108 steep steps leading down to the well.
The most amazing thing is while checking this monument we can see skyscrapers right on the back side which gives a view of centuries embracing each other.

I clicked this image while bike riding to Mcleodganj. This is a picture of a factory situated at the bank of river Byas. I could not find more details but yes it gave me an expression of the bondage of centuries as if the time stood still.
I hope that you have liked and agree with what I felt while looking at these pictures. Please do not hesitate to comment.
Such awesome photos.

True about Mcleodganj. There is some positivity which attracts me towards it. You won't believe that I still go to Aggrasen's Baoli, whenever I go to Delhi. It gives me peace and makes me talk to inner me. There's the peace.

From my knowledge Agrasen Ki Baoli is one of the many high-rise buildings (baoli) that exist in india.Baoli is located in Hailey Road, Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. This age is one of the most magnificent architectural heritage of the past. This age consists of three levels and 103 steps that allow visitors to descend down. Each level is covered with curved niches on both sides. Its own age has a depth of 60 meters. But now the water debit is far far away. See from the architectural style, most likely Agrasen KiBaoli is built at the time of Tughlaq.Namun Indians believe if this well was made during the reign of Maharaja Agrasen.Meski no concrete evidence, a legend that developed in the community seems that Agrasen Ki Baoli built on the orders of the legendary Maharaja Agrasen.Agrasen is a king who only ranks in legend. He is revered as a manifestation of gods like kresna.Menurut story, the king h living in the ancient city of Agroha, Haryana at the time of Mahabharata.Agrasen Ki Baoli is also one of the most haunted places in India. This grand old building has the power to persuade people to plunge in. The effect can also be read on baoli pillars.
Thanks for showering light on this. You have a very good knowledge about this place... @jamalgayoni
Great feeling, you managed to transmit the past and the present in a single image, a question, could you go down and enter those tunnels? or the structure is in danger of being damaged ?
Yes, we can go down and in fact I did... :) Its safe and allowed.
Beautiful! I have some Hindu friends I met them in Ecuador they work for a company called Amdocs, are you Hindu? They tell me wonders of their country, without a doubt I have to visit him, his food is mostly vegetarian but I love it.
Yes, I am Hindu and this is also true that all Hindus are not vegetarians. India is a beautiful country. You must visit.
