If you take any fashion magazine, you will realize that there is always a pattern among the models that print the most diverse pages: they are generally thin, tall, white people. From time to time, models with more curves and different ethnicities began to appear.
It is through this agenda of inclusion and diversity that the participation of the model Marian Ávila in this latest edition of New York Fashion Week is so important. Marian has Down Syndrome and participated in a parade full of light and shine, wearing Talisha White's clothes.
At age 21, Marian can already say that she realized her childhood dream: from a child she imagined breaking stereotypes of the fashion world and showing everyone that she is a woman full of beauty.
Spanish nationality, Marian is now becoming a new spokesperson for beauty, precisely because of her role and her speech that there are no barriers to beauty.
It was the designer herself, Talisha, who invited Marian to participate in the parade of her brand. Upon hearing about her work, Talisha decided to do a search and had no doubts about contacting her and making the invitation.

"Marian has been a busy supermodel, meeting all kinds of people. I'm happy for her, "Talisha told Metro. The designer also said that the model met representatives of other major brands, such as Vogue.
Marian has now become the third model with Down Syndrome to attend New York Fashion Week. The first was Jamie Brewer and the second, Madeline Stuart - both participated in the 2015 edition of the event.
