Haircuts for the Homeless (100% Proceeds of this post go to @hopebank)

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Sometimes it is the little things that make a difference.

How do you think it might feel for a homeless person whose hair and beard is unruly, dirty and messy to be offered a free haircut?

It would make them feel wonderful, even though it might only be for a little while, it would make their day, maybe even give them a little hope back, where there was none.

I love that loads of barbers and hairdressers are doing this all over the world.

I have even seen it be offered in my local area, as there is an amazing group of people who go out every night and check on the homeless people on the street and chat to them, give them some food and support where they can.

It is not only barbers that could offer their services to homeless people, how about beauticians, counselors, masseuses or lawyers, and that is just off the top of my head. What other services do you think could be offered to homeless people?

How about giving them smartphones and a means (lessons) to make money from them?

This post is raising SP for the @hopebank, with 100% of the rewards going to this account.

Love <3

I was also part of fundraising campaign and then I realize the true meaning of life. Love others and you'll be loved by others.

This life that we created for her, helping each other, not killing each other, without grudge hatred or envy, wonderful

Yes, it is the difference between loving the world and hating it.

Acts like these can give people immense hope and courage to the suffering and forgotten people!
And yes! Rather than giving them money we must give them a way to earn!
Great post @hopehuggs

It's not about the service. It's about love

This is cool - little things that you wouldn't otherwise think about can make a huge difference to someone else!

Thanks!

Oh gosh, that is a wonderful effort. If they had access to the crypto wave, they really could be elevated. The beautiful thing about crypto. Keep on spreading the hope!

I bet that felt good. It's amazing how a haircut can change the perspective of a person. What a wonderful way to show love towards a fellow man. @ironshield

I love this initiative, @hopehuggs! It's amazing the transformation!

I am in on helping with homelessness whenever and however I can, my vote isn't worth a lot in value but hopefully a re-steem will help as well.
Great initiative Hope,
