Ideally if we all are on the same page about not harming one another it will work. But see that's the thing. There will always be a handful out to destroy everything in their path. You said it correct though. Our idols are what leads us to destroying the world.
When I think about the future I first look at the past in order to see patterns. The patterns seem to indicate that humans will always be destructive by nature unless they are truly freed. But they themselves will not free themselves because history has proven this. We NEED help.
In this I fully agree with you. There will always be people who will think differently. These people do not benefit from the fact that society would prosper - they need slaves, they need wars. This makes them richer.
People will never come to a common opinion, therefore contradictions will push us against each other.
It is important at the same time to find like-minded people with whom you will support each other. Support is very important in our time.
There is a saying: "Trust in God, but do not let go of your hand" That is, we can wait for help from someone. But we must act ourselves.
Yes help will come but we also must be the light in this world.
