The Road Less Traveled

First I want to say I apologize if I've been slacking on responding to comments. Lately I've been moving at a slower pace than usual, both intentionally and unintentionally. So far I've nearly caught up to recording video responses to yall's comments so just know that I will be releasing those over the course of the next week. But these were some great comments that I will answer in the video. I also wanted to highlight some things regarding sacrifice and being in uncomfortable places in order to get to a place you want in your life. Here we go!

If you are in a place in your life right now where you are either having to sacrifice things or have had to then hopefully you get exactly where I am coming from. It is not easy at all to give things up especially if they are things that make us feel the most secure and comfortable. But many times it is necessary that we give these things up in order to grow and develop. If there is anything that I want you to learn it is this. Learn to thrive in uncomfortable and tough situations. Not everyone is willing to do this but having this attitude will carry you far and be of great benefit to you. Much love to everybody.

What things have been hard fro you to give up in order to reach a goal?

@humanearl, Totally agree with your thoughts. Definitely we want to sacrifice something still reach to goal. I have goal for improve my steemit journey. Probably I have difficulties. I want to spend time with families on holidays and another week days need to full time working. In fact I didn't spend much time in this platform.

Personally, goals are immutably intertwined with the concept of success and failure. For me specifically, that possibility of failure is just too much to bear and the feeling only intensifies the closer i get to my goals.
Sometimes, this leads to me forfeiting along the way or before i even get started. I would rather withdraw by choice than let myself be hurt by the knowledge that they i wasnt good enough’ to reach my goal.
But reading this is an encouragement that its not always easy for anybody when they are chasing after dreams. Have a good dayI really understand your point @humanearl.

well the comfort has to give up sometimes that may be very irritating too but it will be worth once reach the destination and all that pain will become the gain in life

I’ve had to cut off all social media and cut contact with some people in my personal life. Just so I can focus on steemit & discord. I am personally really excited for the release of SMT’s because if it is what I think it is. Then I will just put my training program on my website & open it to everyone while at the same time earning steem & my own tokens.

I think we had difficult times. Some of the times failed from that. That period could be no energy, no strong, no power. In my life time i couldn't give up the order Because of my family, some times not agree with my heart.

Wow. Really hope to see you at your best. But have sure gotten your message of learning to thrive in those challenging and difficult situation. That's the most important thing. It doesnt matter what we go through, but as long as it encountered while we chase our dreams and vision, we should always stay put and keeep going. This is some real motivation.
We all get sidetracked from time to time and, although you probably can’t identify a reason why right now, there’s probably a good reason Opportunity #1 didn’t work out. But, once Opportunity #10 or Opportunity #20 proves successful, you’ll realize why. Consider the billionaire author, J.K. Rowling, who created the "Harry Potter" series. Her idea was rejected 12 times before someone finally gave her a chance. Ultimately, perseverance paid.
We should learn to trust the process.
Thank you @humanearl.

Yeah you made so much sense. Thank you.

yes bro i am totally agree with you..dream do hurt,

Hello @humanearl. This is a great podcast. You're definitely right that we need to be willing to experience discomfort in life to get what we want. Outside of our comfort zone is where growth is. Personally, those times that I increased my willingness level were the times where I got most of what I want. More power to you.
