The Marine Corps has a pretty tight brotherhood, and the training is a bit better than other services as well... to be fair, its also the smallest service by a very wide margin.
You can watch any combat footage and tell what branch the unit is in based on just listening to the rate of fire and communications between servicemen. Thats a direct result of training. Gets harder when you're talking about specialized areas of other services, such as Army paratroopers & rangers, etc.
Its the same with our Marines, my main point is not the training itself but the attitudes of your top brass, what are they like?
