The water hits your head. Your arms.
You look up. It splashes in your face. Running down your cheeks.
You look around. Everybody else is seeking a hideaway.
Does putting on a fierce face decrease your chances of being hit by the rain? Apparently.
People. Rushing around furiously. With their umbrellas in hand. Or their shoulders tucked up close to their ears. Important newspaper over their head. Doing everything to escape the beautiful phenomenon.
Rain.
While you’re just standing there. Enjoying it.
Connected to nature.
Tough to achieve in today’s world. An ever faster paced environment.
Getting caught up in work. Unnecessary activities.
Failing to appreciate what we have.
2 minutes passed.
You start to smile.
Taking time out of your busy day to stand in the rain.
Insane?
You don’t care.
The feel of raindrops on your naked skin pays for everything.
The weird looks. Your wet clothes. The cold you might get that will keep you from attending tomorrow’s mundane meeting.
You live in the moment.
Appreciate every second of it. Every raindrop.
If you’re afraid of rain, you’re afraid of life.
Water is life.
Stay awesome and don’t fail to create!

Great post btw ! Keep it steem
Thank you for that beautiful poem.
Really makes me thinking.
Rain in western society stands for bad days, bad mood, darkness.
In countries like Africa people are happy when they see rain because they are aware of water being essential for them to be alive.
