My Rating: 4.5/5
The author of the book Gary W. Keller is the founder of Keller Williams Realty International, which is the largest real estate company in the world by agent count.
The title of the book pretty much sums up the book. The question to ask your self daily is "What's the ONE Thing I can do such that by doing it everything will be easier or unnecessary?" Gary states that you need to find out what is the most important task, and by completing that task all the other tasks will either easier or unnecessary to complete. This is another one of those books which the main concept can be summed up in a paragraph, but Gary constantly drills the key concepts to your brain. It attacks the same concept from all the angles, while providing the reader with actionable steps.
In a world with increasing number of distractions, that may seem important, the scarcity is staying focused on the main goal. "Productivity isn’t about being a workhorse, keeping busy or burning the midnight oil… . It’s more about priorities, planning, and fiercely protecting your time."—Margarita Tartakovsky
