If you love theatre, old stones and blue-sky, then I strongly advise you to go to Avignon. It's a 2h40 long train ride from Paris - Gare de Lyon. If you're on budget you can even get there using low cost TGV called Ouigo. During July, Avignon is home to a theatre festival (Le Festival d'Avignon). From Avignon you're only 100km away from Marseille and the Calanques. Soon I'll post about it on Steem!
