I love textiles.
I have them as wall hangings, as woven rugs, as throws, and as pillow covers. (Plus of course, clothes).
I like natural materials and hand-weaving.
I got a few new pillows last night with some interesting covers, so thought to share them with you. (Yes, that is one danger of shopping for Xmas presents to give others: trying to resist the temptation to pick up a few things for oneself along the way!)
Here's a couple of the new ones, and one of my existing pillows (plus a bit of a hand woven rug).
Here's a closeup of one of the ikat weaves.
Here's a standalone on the chaise in the kitchenette area (which I prefer to use that space for instead of an actual dinette set).
Well all the line spacing is looking weird in the preview, but hopefully it comes out all right on your end.

Yes, I like textiles @indigoocean, especially in the living room like your, It makes the living room look natural. But I don't have any textile to show you at the moment.

Snap.. I bought cushions yesterday too. I wanted to buy a new 2 seater leather sofa but restrained myself and bought 2 new cushions and jazzed up the old Ikea vinyl sofa instead. It wasn't that comfy to sit on as the seat was narrow and the vinyl had begun to tear. So... I made it go back to its bed configuration and spun it around, so the sofa backrest became the FRONT part and the seat is the back (you can see how I have cranked the arms up) and bought 2 new green cushions and .. voila. Moved a plant in and now going to charity shop for a lamp. I'm super pleased and it saved me 1300 dollars.
Maybe I should post abput it haha.. here is a sneak preview.

Wow, nice little cozy nook! Yeah the pillows make the event for sure. It's amazing how much you can dress up a couch with the right pillows. Definitely beats spending $1300!
