Being on a path of soul searching, for many years now, I've frequently asked my self this question…
If the main thing that people doing internal work is clearing themselves of trauma and blockages, going deeper into the self, what is it that they are contributing to society? Are we riding the good life on the back of the people that work hard? Is it justified if I ask for money from people that want to spend time with me in a specific context (what we call coaching or therapy)?
What is the value of what those people intend to do?
I've come to the conclusion, that what we, as soul searchers do is tremendously valuable.
I subscribe to the theory that we are just small parts of a mere bigger thing. We exist in our own space but are inevitably also connected to our environment. Each human “piece” together makes our unified collective consciousness.
In a time, where a lot of people are getting absorbed by media, filling and coating their consciousness in thousands of fabricated inputs, lots of these inputs have the intention of furthering consumption….
We need people who dedicate their time, to lift the veil, to look below the coating of culture, to stay in touch with who we really are. With the essence of life and creation.
To stay in touch with a felt sense.
If we dont have these pools of clarity, I believe our species will go down the drain of meaninglessness, automation of living and disease.
This work is not always easy nor fun, otherwise, everybody would be doing it.
As others are planting gardens, we are planting seeds of consciousness, in those whom we meet.
Some people never meet a human who is in touch with their deepest self. I don't want to sound elitist, but most humans are spending their whole life not even scratching the depth of their existence, because they are so wrapped in the cultural indoctrination, which just furthers getting more and more disconnected from anything “real”, in terms of a real and felt relation to life.
I will finish up this post here but plan to expand on this topic in the future.
I feel this and often think about these myself. Most people are so disconnected from the 'felt sense', they are only into cheap and fast consumption. They don't dig deeper. I wonder where this will lead, and wether new decentralized sites (like steemit) will bring on good change? Meaning, that people won't just be indoctrinated by old habits, the media, and dumb social media, but I hope that new, quality ideas and thoughts, like yours, will be available for 'consumption' too, which I hope will bring on good change in close minds, and make people think deeper.
It is a good question. I feel the people who want to look into this already have enough resources. Its up to everyone to start the journey. Steemit is a fascinating project, and who knows where it goes, however I dont see it changing the behaviors of consumption, even though it could change the content.
What I mean by that is, that yes its a good opportunity to let quality content be more established by means of decentralized voting power, but the way steemit rewards work actually encourage fast consumption imo.
Interesting! And probably you're right... sadly.
You're asolutely right, this is the most valuable resource. The resource of the shamans and zen masters. It's the yogis and peaceful beings as well. It's all and anyone who comes to know themselves inside. This is truly the greatest blessing that you can give to the human kingdom.
The mind disbelieves such claims, because on the fourth dimension time = money and everything needs to be fought and suffered for. The truth on the 5th dimension is that everything functions in such profound and effective ways when it is resonating on the right frequency.
Self established people resonate this right frequency which acts as a catalyst to the people around them. It's much hard to convince people of the truth, and on the intellectual plane things are distorted. This is why being the experiential proof of higher consciousness is such an amazing gift. You literally transmit light to all of the beings in your reality, seeing those other beings as extensions of your own divinity.
Much Love Brother
Amen brother.
The struggle, at least the way I perceive it, is to again and again learn to trust into these laws of frequency, and not fall to ill judgement by cultural indoctrination, where things have "to be worked for". A day to day process of rediscovering...
To stand hard in your own truth against the waves of society is no easy thing to do.
Yeah, I too very often feel and think that we should get paid for being here.
Navigating through this physical realm might get bumpy here and then, but in the long-term the psychological, emotional and mental well-being is much more lingering in our mind. For me, taking responsibility for one's life starts here. Taking decisions favoring our inner Peace, even though doing so might trigger short-term upheaval by the external, yet we will feel best in the long-term. It doesn't matter what others think of our actions, WE know best what is good for our inner world's well-being. And we are only responsible for our Self. This Practicality is what makes others finally emulate us :)
"Taking decisions favoring our inner Peace, even though doing so might trigger short-term upheaval by the external"
Totally agree, its of utmost importance the needs of our self, other wise we are of no use to anybody. Trusting your own intuition, when it goes against what is perceived as logical or the normal thing to do kind of action isnt that easy.
This is a fantastic idea! And something that absolutely needs to be integrated into our society, as many people feel that personal work can be "selfish" in some way, though I think it has aspects of this it ultimately is good for everyone around you regardless of your intention.
Totally agree. :) Thanks for your comment.
I like the way you think! I really feel that if people didn’t have to spend all of their energy and resources working to make a living.. just to simple live.. than we would naturally do the internal work.
This is something Ive been thinking about, and I cannot say that I am sure that would happen (people doing their internal work, when theyd have the time).
But what I do believe is that people need to do their internal work, if something as universal basic income would come. Which lays the path to a handful of interesting ethical questions....
If we could turn back time and have implemented such an incentivization program earlier, I’d be a fucking millionaire by now! Haha!
