I thought this map was facinating! A different perspective of the states of United States referrenced to other countries by similar GDP.

Maps always put things in different perspective. Our minds can ignore numbers, but it's harder to ignore images.

I totally agree. Images can be a powerful way to tell the story behind those numbers. Perhaps that is why there is an explosion of use of infographics as of late.
