RE: PTSD through the eyes of a combat veteran

in #life7 years ago

I wish I could do more for you than resteem this. I'm so sorry you have to live with that everyday. I wish you the best in finding ways to cope. It's really all you can do. You can't change what you've seen. Keep talking - if it helps. Do whatever constructive thing you have to - if it helps. I think there's quite a few out there who understand in their own ways. I've never been quite where you have and I'm thankful for that, but I do empathize. I really do, and I'm sorry for all you have to go through. We thank our veterans for so much and forget so easily what lives of hell we leave them to face alone after combat. You paid a price so the rest of us wouldn't have to. That's more than enough reason to hold your head up. I wish you peace of mind whatever ways you can find it. And when you lose it, I wish you a path back to find that place again every time. I wish you the strength for that.

Thank you for your kind words. The fact that you took the time to read my story means more to me than a monetary value. Thank you for the resteem as well. It has been overwhelming to me the amount of support I have received so far and how many people are interested in what I have to say. Thank you for your support.
