What is the worst movie you have ever seen?

in #life7 years ago

I posted earlier asking What is your favorite movie of all time. If you haven't joined in the discussion, hop on over.

So I'm going to follow it up with the polar opposite question.

What is the worst movie you have ever seen?

Mine is easy, I remember when I first bought my first DVD player I bought a couple movies with it. At the time I was flying blind and had no idea what they were and I heard they were good.

I can't remember all the movies but two of the movies where

  • Unforgiven
  • Brazil

Brazil I heard was a fantastic movie, and I was excited to watch. The first time I watched it I made it to about 10-15 minutes and the wtf factor was just too great and I had to give up. I tried the movie a few more times over the years, I think the best I could do was about 30-40 minutes before I just couldn't take it anymore.

I never was much for British comedy, I like Monty Python and all that, but most of it is just not my style. I tried Dr. Who a few times, but never could get into it either.

Some day I'll try to get through it, it has been a long time since I tried and I'm a huge Robert DeNiro fan and at the time I didn't even know who he was or that he was even in it.

I do remember walking out of one movie in the theater (never have done that before) but I can't for the life of me remember what movie it was. I'm pretty sure it wasn't good though.

Sort:

Haha wow Brazil is a great movie, For the reasons. It is very original in it's story. It is a good reflection of distopia. It is a complete head trip and makes you question the reality of the state in your own life and how bureaucracy can be a meddling hindrance to progress. Is it the one where they drill the hole through the floor and charge the occupier? Very similar to the UK police tactic of breaking doors down with a battering ram and expecting the owner to pay for it. This actually happened to a friend and they had the wrong house. He didn't get any compensation for the broken door frame. Anyway, worse movie for me... hmm, I've seen some shit in my time. How about the Netflix original Bushwick, that's the latest terrible I remember.

The worst movie I ever watched is E.T

When it first came out or did you watch it recently?

I did when it came out and then recently to give it another chance.
I also re watched PUMPING IRON and it did look very different from the first time I saw it wen I was younger.

I know this is a hard question but ....
Which movie did you like the most ?

Sorry man, no. The WORST i've ever watched it's definitely the well known cult movie THE ROOM.

Its so bad, its annoyingly funny.

by a long stretch - Samuel L. Jackson's 'Snakes on a plane!' wtf!

It has to be BattleField Earth with John Travolta!

That is my choice, also.

I watched a worst movie in my life. This name is araking, Really I watched it with many Annoyance.

Bird man is the worst movie I’ve ever tried to watch. How did that win Best Picture? Two hours of the most stupid, boring movie I have ever seen.

Finally, someone else who agrees with me. Birdman was one big bird crap.

I regularly watch terrible films via the medium of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and Rifftrax. So much so that the Star Wars Holiday Special is now a regular Christmas event for us:

Plus the riff of cult terrible film The Room is spectacular:

MST3K’s Manos: Hands Of Fate is legendary:

And Time Chasers:

Manos and The Room are so bad, they're good.

The wrost movie i have ever seen

Saving Christmas. With Kirk Cameron... Damn... I lose my time.kirk-cameron-saving-christmas.jpg

I watched the worst movie when I was just 9years old, the movie lasted for almost 3hours, it's a movie that the it's diction was purely in my language Yoruba the movie makes me cry because of the sympathy I have for the antagonist and beside been full of tragic, and also the movie was purely tragedy.

Thank @ipromote for given me opportunity to share my experience with you

film is something that can be made in the inspiration for the audience, therefore very influential good bad

The worst i ever watched in my life is Moonlight. I don't know how it was awarded oscar.

Shaun the sheep. Watched it with the kids. It was fucking horrible.

These are some of the greatest worst movies I have seen, there is another that is even worse (greater) but the name eludes me.

Eliminators 1986

Conquest 1983

America 3000 1986

Enjoy.

By coincidence, I watched America 3000, yesterday. Not very good.

No it's not, Conquest makes even less sense than America 3000 and Eliminators is some kind of strange Terminator/Robocop adventure with next to no budget. They are so horrible they are good. Instead of serious movies they become comedies.

Wow these are pretty old stuff!

Oh gee thanks, only as old as me!

Oh Im sorry I hope I did not offend you. Idid not mean too.

Haha, all good, I just need to get used to the 80s as being old. xD

hahaha thanks! You dont need to as they say age is but a number :)

Actually I watch bollywood movie and the worst movie I have seen there name "gajgamini" which was super flop and there was no story found.

I have Kodi and watch lots of movies and there are many I just turn off because it is too painful to try to watch.

now many emerging less interesting films may be the world's film industry has a lot of films with incomplete title script

I may make a few enemies here... haha but the original Tron was by far the worst movie I have ever seen...

I appreciate what it did for the future of movies but that one sucked haha

I love that movie!

Mine would be the The Green Inferno. One of the most what the fuck movies I've ever watched with a very what the fuck ending and what the fuck characters.

End of Days with Arnold Swartznegger comes to mind when talking about popular actors and bad movies, Fifteen Minutes with Robert DeNiro, Sea of Love with Al Pacino, but I've watched a host of really bad movies worse then these over the years mostly just to see if they'd improve by the end.

Goonies.....worst movie ever created .

Goonies is a classic!

For me it was Birdemic

If Hitchcock raised his head, he would beg the hopeful aspiring masters of suspense to stop paying homage to him. Neither in the cinema nor in the life the illusion disguises the inexperience, and this film remembers to those rajajos and palotes with which, in the kindergarten, the children draw their families as a gift in the day of the mother. It even awakens the same tenderness. A disastrous script and a photograph and a technically calamitous sound are crowned with a flock of murderous birds that seem stuck on the screen as a collage. Your goal - what a novelty! - to destroy humanity.

Not a movie but tv series. Honestly i had lots of expectation for this.
Trailer looked so promising. Infact the concept was great, that's the thing, they haven't done much with the concept. They just had mediocre characters and weak script that will make you not about any characters. Great concept , Weak characters.

Well if you love video games, this is the best movie to hate and it's from the most hated director I know.

The worst movie I ever saw was about Bela Lugosi, the actor that played Dracula in old films. A close second is the Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Are you referring to Ed Wood with Johnny Depp?

Not sure and I don't want to know... don't want to know anything about that horrible movie. :P

The worst movie have ever watched is flash

Worst movies for me:

  1. Oblivion (2013)
  2. After Earth (2013)
  3. Run All Night (2015)

D.O.A: Dead or Alive or any of Uwe Boll movies...

Hold on, Hold on... Everyone could be identified with me about this...

The worst movie I have ever tried to watch has to be "Where the Wild Things Are"

I love the book and read it to my children all the time. However trying to watch that movie I got about 2 minutes into that temper tantrum Max throws in the beginning of the movie and was like. Why that little $***. If that was my kid.....

Battlefield Earth, starring John Travolta, is the worst movie I've ever watched. It will numb your mind with boredom. The script and acting are terrible. The alien makeup is laughable.
