Each & Every One Of Us Is Important!

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Having researched many a topic over the internet and relating it all to real life experiences, one of the main topics that is related to every single person on this earth is "Sustainable" models of each and every aspect of our lives.

As with Human Rights being based on the core value of the survival of the human species, everything we do as individuals affects us and our survival. This is something that many people seem to forget when it comes to personal preferences in life. In layman terms, "Us people often let our own selfishness get the better of us".

When we are discussing any topic out there, we need to do our best to understand that every action results in reactions and as individuals we often are unable to understand or comprehend the idea that what we do does affect others and other aspects of life.

As with every "system" whether it be economical, social, environmental in nature, there needs to be overlapping and understanding, a communal agreement by which our actions compliment each others.

Sustainability is something that many of us do not understand, including myself, as we are all focused on what we know, on the things in our lives that we know and feel comfortable with. Nothing wrong with that, this is absolutely normal human nature. However if we could broaden our views on the way things are in this world and take a little more time to consider how our actions affect others, what reactions our actions result in, then maybe we could in our own little individual ways make this world a better place.

Each and every person is important in this.
We could say that this type of view is what we call "Thinking globally" even if our actions are on an individual "local" level.

I will try to keep this post as "global" as possible, taking into consideration that I have made my point about acting locally as individuals. No matter how overwhelming some things may seem on a global level, they are all a result of our individual actions on a local level.
Everything from our social activities, our communal contributions all the way up to how we react to issues that are presented on a global level.
Each and every person, no matter how different we all may be is important.

To present what I am saying in a "picture" as the old saying goes, a picture can say a 1000 words:

Now if we use this graphic description and apply it to every level of life, everything from our family lives, to our social lives, to our business dealings, to our backyards and our contributions to organized efforts that affect any branch of humanity out there, we can as individuals affect the overall "good" that results from our actions and efforts.

If we look at Steemit and apply this logic to our actions here, then we can see how each and everyone of us is more than important, we as individuals make up this ecosystem here on Steemit.
No matter how different we all may be in nature, in our quirks and know how, we all add to the overall success of Steemit.

Yes, each and everyone of us, no matter how "small or big" we may consider ourselves to be in this "system".

When each of us goes through all the individual walls of users, we see a broad international variety of topics, from individual personal topics to social and communal topics to economical topics all the way to environmental topics. So here on Steemit we have all the necessary know how and experience to help make this world a better place.

How so?

Simply by learning from one another, no matter what our personal opinions may be on individuals or topics of discussion, there is something to be learned.

If we as individuals can start accepting each other as such and put aside our personal differences, we can actually learn from each other, we can start contributing even more to the overall grand scheme of things on a global level.
More importantly we can start understanding each other as humans. We can start seeing things from other peoples perspectives, which is something most people on this earth never manage to achieve during the span of their lives.

I am sticking to my guns on this, as my standpoint is "don't judge, try to understand" and this has helped me learn a lot of things that I never was able to comprehend while I was seeing things from my own "view", while in reality the person standing in front of me was able to see things from a totally different point of view.

One simple way to describe it is with a simple little "experiment" to help describe what I am trying to get across here:

Look in front of you, and what do you see?
Then turn around and look behind you, what do you see?

Well when talking with people, you see them and what is behind them, they see you and what is behind you. (physically)

Now try to transcribe this physical scenery to all the life experiences and know how that person has and likewise the same applies to you. So there is a wealth of knowledge there, both ways.

Now imagine this same thing with a group of people and not just 2 people!

We have what it takes here on Steemit to make a BIG difference, especially if we can start thinking out of the box as far as our personal views, attitudes, opinions go.

Not one of us knows it all, that is a fact, the beauty of it here on Steemit is that many people are so delightfully sharing their know how and experiences here that we can use this platform here to learn a lot and fulfill our lives by using the know how that is being shared to everyone who wants to learn.

Individuality is a fantastic thing, if we can accept others as equals/individuals!

Now lets look at the graphic description above and apply what I have written here and I am sure that after thinking about it that we can all see just how important it is to not only accept each other as individuals, but also share our knowledge, know how, experiences in the goal of learning from one another and adding to the common wealth that Steemit has to offer to each and every one of us!

Again, just me sharing thoughts and visions about the future that I see out there and what is possible!

I hope that my post here has in some way helped or can help others view things a little differently and help out in all the future actions we take as individuals and affect the reactions our actions result in.

Yours truly.
Jack.

What a cracking post Jack.
Having known you since your arrival on Steemit I am so impressed with the way you have grown into such an eloquent writer and force of positivity. You're all about the community Jack and I applaud you.

awwwww..... I'm almost blushing!

Really a great post. You are a great asset to the Steemit community.

Thanks mate, sharing some thoughts and visions helps me get back on track and maybe helps someone else too.

Staying focused is sometimes one of the hardest things to do with all the obstacles in our way.

So I guess I'm being self critical with this post more so than anything else, learning from my own mistakes and sharing these experiences here on Steemit. Something I have never had the opportunity to do as an individual anywhere else.

Thanks again for the vote of confidence and nice words, means a lot to me.

Esa es la clave, me parece un artículo muy bueno porque al aplicarlo podemos aceptarnos tal como somos y aun así convivir en armonía, hace falta cultivar este tipo de visión. Gracias por compartirlo

So true that many people are not able to relate or see others view due to lack of exposure. It is easier to say we think 'globally' but unfortunately not every one has that opportunity. What you have written is great and we hope that people will see this positively and more will be less selfish. Paying forward is a good way to start to show sincerity and is an action to get the ball rolling. That's my cent worth.
Thanks for sharing....following you and up voted you
