My Dear steemians, I want to share with this little piece of my country.
Recently I did a short road trip to the mountains near my hometown San Cristobal. As I told you previous posts, I live in Venezuela and despite everything you have heard about my country, there are so many places to visit.

Me and some friends decided to go on a short weekend getaway to " El Cobre" , a little farmer village up in the mountains and we went to visit a farm a the town square.
The enormous tree behind me is a pepper tree (Schinus molle) a Peruvian pepper tree, local folks said it is the only one in the country
People in this small village is very kind, when we were taking pictures to the pepper trip, some locals came and they offered to take us to a broccoli and lettuce farm really high in the mountains
the farmers had different crops:
leeks, carrots, onions and also some potatoes
And the view from up there was breathtaking

what I love the most of this trip was being in touch we nature, I truly admire this so called simple life far away from traffic jams, the city noices.
please when you have the opportunity, do yourselves a favor, get away from the city and visit other places your boby and mind will thank you
