What a fascinating repair job! I bet there ain't no one on here who's had a grass roof so this was very informative and educational as well as just plain cool! and that view?? forgetta bout it!

It was very fascinating to see the guy work at it and we since had a very heavy rain, the kind that comes down sideways in sheets, and underneath the palapa ... bone dry :) SO cool! And yes, the view is wonderful!
hahaha! I told you why I'm forced to be nice. :) unfortunately because I thought of some great things to say! lol. But anyway is the view at night really cool too? What's that like? The whole things is kinda making me jealous. Especially with you sitting there having ice cold beers!
There's not much of a view at night, but if it's clear skies, we can see the island of Cozumel all lit up :) Just the warm glow of the coconut lights lit up is plenty for me, and of course it all looks extraordinary with a cold beer or two as well :)

Well I was hoping the view at night would be great, why isn't it, not enough lights out in that part of town?
The island across the ocean is very small(not many lights at night), and our patio is higher than most places around us, and we can't really see them from our chairs ... it's kind of nice though because it seems like just us and the tree tops and the sky :)
ok well I guess that would be acceptable. Especially if you could go to the edge of the roof and see lights right?
Hey remember that post about the luffas where I was giving you a hard time? A guy came on there and asked me if I was just joking because he said it was so harsh! lol
That's why I can't tease you on your posts unless it's like day 6 or something.
