No fooling, I wanted one I could carry to a pond to use. It also needs to break down and fit in my sedan, so I can go where I want, when I want. Each bucket will lift 41.5 pounds. Attaching lids to the four 2x4 legs will provide mounting for flotation buckets. These legs can be bolted to a central frame, to form a pontoon style boat. These parts can fit inside my car, with the buckets stacked up. I have a trolling motor to push it.
I actually designed this for the pond at the Gun Club, as you can use boats there, but they MUST be carried only, and no gasoline motors are allowed. I have a 16 foot pontoon right now, and a canoe; but this bucket boat just looks fun.
