BEING BRAVE...

“Be bold and courageous. When you look back on your life, you’ll regret the things you didn’t do more than the ones you did.”— H. Jackson Brown Jr.

BEING BRAVE

......

I really love this quote! It is so monumentally powerful - and accurate, yet the one where its "instruction" is often not executed. When we are kids, we are like clean canvasses - super heroes in the making in a manner of speaking… We have unwavering faith we can be and do anything - no matter how outlandish. Doubt, is seldom a part of our lives as children.

However, as we grow older and are exposed to "life" – that perspective and trust in things gradually deviates... or lessens rather. Suddenly we are not quite as courageous and happy-go-lucky... and are also a lot less enthusiastic to "step into the unfamiliar" for fear of, well - often many things... Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of humiliation - and the list goes on.

This is something that we need to learn how to change -
one action, moment or incident at a time.

There is another quote that I often like to refer to... "Do one thing every day that scares you". If this is practiced, then suddenly you start to notice that you are willing to step outside of your box and try new things - and the best part of that all, is that you will generally discover how much you enjoy these new discoveries and ultimately acknowledge just how much you have been missing out on.

There is nothing worse than the regret of missed opportunities,
especially if they are/were something that we have/had a passion for.

It is NEVER too late to turn things around or change the direction of your course and pursue your dreams, no matter how "fictitious" they may seem in the beginning!

Remember that!

......

Until next time...

Feel the fear but do it anyways. But be fearful and assess the consequences of your actions before making the plunge. However, when you do decide to make the plunge just love and enjoy what you do, otherwise, it will become a burden and then you will want to give up before reaching the finish line. Have a nice day. 😂🍪🍌🍪🍪🍪🍪.

You really do come forward with some gems @amarbir xxx

Thank you very much.

great writing and i praise you..
please carry on...

That quote speaks volumes to me! I find myself now regretting the things that i never tried to do in the pass. Like honestly if I tried some things that I was scared to do I might never be able to try them again.

A silly example is when I was a kid I was scared of flying the big jumps on my pedal bike and wouldn't dare to try them. But looking back on it now I wish I have because If I try to do them now i'll probably be off work for a week or so if I fail the jump

Thanks for very nice....i like this life....best of luck....

That is indeed very great advice! Every day do 1 thing that scares you... I'm even going to write this down on my journal to make sure I don't forget it :)
Definitely the more you do this, the more you're growing as a person because you're overcoming your challenges every day.

Life is like that!

Powerful Message.

This is the essence of growing... here on Steemit and in Life as a whole.

Beautiful Reminder.

An excellent post! I'm bold but not lost.
Loving the words you arranged like a boss.
Despite any cost! You are great as a host.

Yup, being brave and bold in seizing whatever opportunities there are for us!!

It's nice to be reminded of such an important part of life. Thinking that you are brave and actually been brave are two different things.

Been brave not only involves overcoming our greatest fears in our minds, it involves taking steps to show we can truly overcome them.

I am truly inspired. This is a right word in the right time. Thanks so much @jaynie

Be brave. Courage is not the absence of fear but the presence of fear yet the will goes on. Dare the impossible. Fortune always favour the brave. They used to say curiosity killed the cat, i would say the cat died nobly and brave.

This is so true! It is never too late to turn things around. Where there's a will, there's a way!

I try to scare myself at least once a day. A little bit of fear helps the world go around in my opinion!

Thankyou @jaynie. It sure is ashame how we adults lose that sponteneity and fearless attitude we had as children.

I think we can recapture some of that exactly with what you say...do something once a day that really scares you or makes you very uncomfortable.

I study brain science and neuroplasticity so I think we can rewire the brain with things like you just talked about doing each day.

thanks again

@jaynie - I vote your post the #1 post that I've seen today. All I can say is WOW!! Such unique content, beautiful pictures, prose and wisdom all contained in one single post.

Outstanding job, keep up the great content. I've followed - resteemed - and upvoted you as well. Kudos to you my friend!

It is indeed a reminder, no dreams cannot be pursued and no age is too old to pursue your dream.
