I am very sorry to hear... and believe me, you deserve a little "woe is me". Being separated from loved ones in any way has such great impact on our lives, and for it to be indefinite you really can't even begin to describe the slew of emotions that this causes. It changes us. I hope you find ways to keep your grandma fresh in your mind as time passes and wish your father and family the best. Take care brother

i appreciate that. i simply meant that i wasn't actively looking for sympathy with the post in the way some people crave and seek out attention for things like this. it's certainly a sad situation, but she lived a good long life, so it's hard to be too sad about her passing. especially with the pain she was experiencing the last two weeks.
