RE: Home Work

in #life7 years ago

Young ones are so grown up ... until they act their real age at a very inconvenient time, lol. I used to work from home a lot and enjoyed every moment of it (pets aside). Now that I'm retired, I look for those days when I have actual work to do for someone (I do volunteer bookkeeping, database and website stuff for people - volunteer, as in not paid, lol). Now, if I could just put that same effort into my writing! :D

Wow, it sounds as if you are kept busy!

When I used to do write stuff I worked from home and was work daft. Getting all lost in the creation of it and all. My job now though is much more nebulous!

It's much more sporadic than I'd like, and only 2 organizations (the local MS Society and Family Outreach) that I do work for now - so I really have no excuse for procrastinating with my own stuff, lol. I do enjoy what I do though, as it keeps me in touch with my community. Chronic illness tends to be very isolating.

Yes, to keep in touch with others in that Respect must be quite good.

No more procrastination for either of us!! :0D
