As you may or may not know already, your legs are the base of your whole workout, and a strong base is the start to an overall great physique. Leg day is usually the easiest day to skip, people normally focus more on chest, biceps, and triceps, body parts that are more visible to the eye at first site.
What many people don’t know is that working your legs is an excellent cardio workout & burns a higher number of calories than solely working any other upper body part. The reason for this is the release of hormones & testosterone when training legs. As you may or may not know testosterone is used by the body to help build muscle and burn fat.
Many athletes work legs in order to jump higher run faster & perform better over all in their premier sport. Here are some leg day workouts that you will be able to use and start you on your way to the perfect physique you’ve dreamed of.
Leg day (day 1)
Squats – Max weight
5 sets/8 reps
Lunges – Max weight
5 sets/8 Lunges (per leg)
Leg day (day 2)
Deadlift – Max weight
5 sets/8 reps
Hack squats – Max weight
5 sets/8 reps
Haha thats so true. Many people train to look good, and forget to train maybe the most important muscle: LEGS
