Did you ever play Adventure?
It had everything you could possibly want in a role playing game.
Everything that is, except for good graphics or much of a story line.
Nevertheless, it was still pretty awesome considering that came out in 1979.

Get the key from the Dragon!
Or I should say....
Get the key from the pixelated object which doesn't really look like a dragon but is kind of a square type thing!
I spent countless nights staying up late playing Adventure after my parents were asleep.
Our 2600 was connected to the TV in the living room which was quite far away from my parent's bedroom.
The sound chip that was inside the 2600 was pretty bad.
It kind of sounds like the actual speaker in your computer itself. I'm not talking about the external speakers but the little bitty tiny internal speaker.
You play a tiny square.
Your object as the tiny square is to find various different keys.
You need the keys in order to unlock the castle.

You might be thinking that this game looks like it sucks.
Well you couldn't be more wrong.
In 1979 you have to remember that there really weren't any games like this.
Adventure was a pioneer and I can tell you that it was tons of fun to play.
Kids today just don't understand what it was like to play video games in the past.
It was awesome.
If you haven't played Adventure I recommend you try to get your hands on an Atari 2600 and give it a go.
You won't regret it.
Imagine what the ground breaking vr will be in a few years to come , if that was the game you really enjoyed was from 97 am even amazed.
It wasn't from 97 though it was from 79.
its still a very long time to me
God I loved this game. Kinda crazy that it is probably my introduction to RPGs lol
It was my introduction as well.
I had the Atari 2600 as a kid, but I don't remember this game. The sound and graphics though. 😂
It was a great game.
hahahaha you have much reason before anyone cares about the graphics of video games and being that the last generation was enjoyed to the fullest .. I never play it, but my parents if you told me about those games ... thanks for bringing those memories .
These games were the best.
I still play Adventure regularly. It's the Atari 2600 game I play the most at this point.
It's a good game.
I always liked the games of atari, my boyfriend says he is very lucky to have a woman by his side who likes videogames hahaha .. Adventure I never played it .. My favorite game in atari was bobby is going home, I remember my Daddy help me pass the part of the bridge that opened and closed ... Good memories!
Wow, I never heard of Bobby is going home but I just checked it out and it looks like it would have been pretty fun.
I love that game
